ROYAL WEDDING (KATE & WILLIAMS TAKE NOTE)

El 29 de abril la Abadía de Westminster verá una nueva boda real, nacerá una nueva princesa Kate Middleton que tendrá su propia boda de cuento con principe azul y final feliz…(aunque…no sabemos si también comerán perdices…-como se suele decir-…en el banquete)


On April 29 the Abbey of Westminster will see a new royal wedding, there will be born a new princess Kate Middleton who will have his own wedding fairy tale with prince and happy ending … (though … we do not know if also they will eat partridges … – since it is in the habit of saying – … in the banquet)

Foto: día en que se hizo público el compromiso de la pareja, Kate lleva el anillo de pedida de Lady Diana ya que su prometido quiso que en un día tan especial su madre también estuviera presente. El anillo esta compuesto de un impresionante zafiro rodeado de diamantes.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II & DUKE OF EDIMBURGH 

Una boda muy emotiva para un Londres destrozado por la II Guerra Mundial hizo recobrar el fervor por la familia real británica. Elisabeth no quiso ostentar dados los tiempos difíciles y opto por un modelo muy sencillo de Normat Harnell con una cola de cuatro metros inspirada en el cuadro de la  Primavera de Botticelli.


A very emotional wedding to a London torn apart by World War II, did regain the passion for the British Royal Family. Elisabeth did not want to hold given the hard times and opted for a simple model by Normat Harnell with a for metes tail inspired by the painting of Botticelli´s Spring.


GRACE KELLY &RAINIERO DE MÓNACO

La impresionante actriz Grace kelly se caso con su príncipe Rainiero en una ceremonia muy romántica teniendo una vida feliz hasta el fin de sus días. Para un día tan especial fué vestida por Helen Rose con un encaje frances en la parte superior y una falda en forma de tulipán. Cuentan que el vestido fue enviado desde Estados Unidos en una caja repleta de algodones perfumados para que al abrirse la fragancia impregnara el lugar.

Impressive actress Grace Kelly married Prince Painier with a very romantic ceremony to have a happy ending until the end of his days. For a special day,  Helen Rose designer a French lace on top and a tulip-shaped skirt. They say that..the dress was sent from USA in a box full of scented cotton that openning the fragrance pervaded the place.

SOFIA DE GRECIA & JUAN CARLOS I DE ESPAÑA

Sofía y Juan Carlos I tuviero no una sino dos bodas ya que tuvieron que celebrar tanto el rito católico como el ortodoxo así que…a pesar de las dificultades que pasaron en aquellos momentos pudieron salir adelante cumpliendo con sus obligaciones. 

Jean Desses modisto de alta costura se encargo de vestir a Sofia con lamé e incrustaciones de encaje antiguo, el velo fué el mismo que llevó Reina Federica en su boda.

Sofia and Juan Carlos I hath not one but two weddings because the had to celebrate both the Catholic and Orthodox rite so…despite the difficulties that happened al that time could go on to fulfill their obligations. 

Jean Dessen designer haute couture, was custom Sofia with lamé and inlaid with antique lace, the veil was the same that led Queen Federica at her wedding.

LADY DIANA & PRINCE CHARLES OF ENGLAND

Lady Di se caso con el principe Carlos en una de las ceremonias más “barrocas” de la historia de la realeza británica, sin duda el momento más emotivo fue el beso en el balcón del Palacio de Buckingham ante miles de espectadores. Cientos de diseñadores quisieron vestir a Diana pero los afortunados fueron David y Elizabeth Emanuel con un diseño muy 80´s de mangas farol y volantes en el escote…aunque sin duda lo más impactante fue la cola de 25 metros…

Lady Di married Prince Charles in one of the most “baroque” ceremonies in the history of British royalty, no doubt the most emotional moment was the kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace before thousand of spectators. Hundreds of designers want to dress Diana but David and Elizabeth was choose with a very 80´s design, lantern sleeves and ruffles at the neckline…but certainly the most striking was the tail of 25 meters…

RANIA AL YASSIN & ABDALÁ DE JORDANIA

Lujo y romanticismo no falto en la boda celebrada en Amán de la icónica y elegante Rania de Jordania. Su vestido compuesto por dos piezas en las que destacaba una chaqueta de manga corta y solapas bordadas en oro y unos guantes cortos.

Luxury and romance do not miss the wedding in Amman of the iconic and elegant Queen Rania of Jordan. Their dress consist of two pieces that featured a short-sleeved jacket embroidered with gold lapels and a short gloves.

MARY DONALSON & FREDICK OF DENMARK

Mary nunca imaginó que aquella visita inesperada en Sydney en la que hizo de guía para el sobrino del rey de España y sus amigos, numerosos príncipes europeos, resultaría el principio de su cuento de hadas. 

Uffe Frank, diseñador danes fué la elección de esta modesta chica de negocios australiana. Lució un vestido con escote redondo y mangas “Cala”, el velo fue el mismos que llevo la bisabuela de Federico, Margret.

Mary never imagined that this unexpected visit in Sydney which she made a guide for the nephew of the king of Span and his friends, many European princes, it would bethe beginning of his fairy tale. 

Uffe Fran, Danish designer, was the choice of this modest bussines girl of Australia. She wore a dress with round neck and sleeves “Cala”, the veil was the same as Margert, great-grandmother of Frederick led at his wedding.

LETIZIA ORTIZ & FELIPE JUAN PABLO ALFONSO DE BORBÓN 

Letizia nos conquistó siendo la periodista del telediario de las 9 y..al enterarnos de la noticia otro sueño se había hecho realidad…otra chica había encontrado a su príncipe azul y se convertiría en princesa de Asturias. 

Manuel Pertegaz realizó un vestido de corte princesa y la tiara de platino y diamantes de inspiración helénica cedida por la Reina Sofía que la llevó el día de su boda.

Letizia we stil won the journalist of TV news at 9 and…to learn the news of another dreams had come true…another girl had found her prince charming and become Princess of Asturias.

Manuel Pertegaz made a dress and princess cut and the tiara composed by diamond and platinum Hellenic inspiration courtesy of Queen Sofia led her wedding day.

VICTORIA OF SWEDWEN & DANIEL WESTLING

En esta ocasión fué Daniel, entrenador personal de Victoria quien encontró a su princesa…La boda fue muy romantica dado que los novios pasearon en barco en vez de optar por los tradicionales carruajes. 

La princesa contó con unos zapatos diseñados por Roger Vivier especialmente para ella y un vestido de Pär Engsheden de escote barco y color crema. Nos quedamos con su espectacular corona de los siete camafeos rodeada de perlas, la misma que lució la reina Silvia en su boda. 

This time it was Daniel, Victoria´s personal trainer who found his princess….The wedding was very romantic as the couple walked by boat instead of opting for traditional carriages.

The princess has a Roger Vivier shoes designed especially for her and Pär Engsheden dress boat neckline and cream color. We stayed with her spectacular crown of the seven cameos surround by pearls, the samas as Queen Silvia wore at her wedding.
